About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team at AM FRESH Group.
This is a challenging role that requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the logistical administration, importing, clearance, and arrivals of all produce from supplier to AM FRESH UK. They will manage, develop, and deliver a quality, accurate, cost-efficient, seamless service to all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with port agents to clear goods through customs and communicate issues with our seasonal supply base to resolve any clearance issues.
- Monitor vessel departures and arrivals to maximise free port time and reduce stock holding at port and at depot.
- Reduce freight costs by maximising load fills.
- Organise all transport and freight from port to Packhouse/Direct Supply as required against current supply base requirements.
- Consignment/Shipping notification/Manifest uploads – set up in Rubicon and ensure all loading notifications are received from our seasonal company supply base in a timely manner.
- Manage claims and re-charges process.
- Communicate to commercial, procurement, planning, and operational teams of any stock delays through delayed shipments, supplier load delays, delayed clearance, or clearance issues that could impact stock management and supply to customer base.
About You
- Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
- Full driving license.
- Commercial awareness.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills.
