Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Aerospace Quality Engineer to join our client's team in Derby. This is a full-time position working 7-day shifts, with a potential for 2-shift Mon-Fri roles available. The initial contract is 12 months, with opportunities for extension.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct thorough inspections of engines and modular assemblies using engine manuals, work instructions, technical information, and drawings to ensure all components are serviceable or require repair/replacement.
  2. Collaborate with the Overhaul Team to raise non-conformances, overcheck critical build assemblies, and ensure engine configuration meets customer and regulatory requirements.
  3. Work towards performance targets and customer delivery commitments within set deadlines.
  4. Maintain compliance with technical and quality specifications to ensure products meet customer expectations.
  5. Daily collaboration with Quality & Engineering Functions to maintain airworthiness standards.
  6. Experience in operating various engineering equipment and interpreting engineering drawings to achieve required product quality.
  7. Inspection experience with engine/complex assembly components, ideally.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need relevant inspection experience and the ability to interpret engineering drawings correctly. A strong understanding of quality control procedures and commitment to delivering high-quality results is essential.

What We Offer: As a valued member of our team, you can expect competitive compensation, including a salary range of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, based on your skills and experience.
