Research Associate in Ocean Tracers

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Associate to join our international team at Imperial College London, working alongside Prof Heather Graven to investigate the ocean's response to climate change.

About the Role

This 2-4 year fixed-term position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a large-scale research project, synthesizing and evaluating ocean tracer data, and developing new ocean biogeochemical models.

Key Responsibilities
  • PhD in Earth Sciences, Physics, Maths, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Experience in research, computing, and data analysis
  • Knowledge of marine biogeochemistry (desirable)
  • Collaboration with an international team spanning the UK, US, Belgium, Germany, and South Africa
  • Travel support for conferences and secondments
  • Teaching opportunities in the Physics Department at Imperial
