Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at New Appointments Group. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement measurement policies to reduce scrap in the machine shop.
  • Conduct product design reviews to promote repeatability and reliability in production.
  • Perform internal audits to the AS9100 standard.
  • Support other duties as reasonably requested.

Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of Metrology with a background in Quality Engineering.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Strong knowledge of quality systems.
  • Proficiency in maintaining detailed quality records.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Coordinate Measurement Machines (CMM) and Optical Measurement Systems.
  • Certified Internal Auditor to AS9100D.
  • Experience with First Article Inspection to AS9102.

Health and Safety Responsibilities:

  • Take reasonable care for health, safety, and the environment.
  • Ensure compliance with company Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and site procedures.
  • Ensure all employees, contractors, and visitors adhere to safety standards and use provided safety equipment.
