Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Strategic Land team as a Development Planning Manager.

This is a permanent, full-time role based in Tamworth, working 37.5 hours per week. You will report to the Planning Manager and be responsible for coordinating and identifying land opportunities and proposals for submission to landowners/agents.

Salary: This position offers a competitive salary of £56,000 - £66,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing the Strategic Land Strategy by advising on regional requirements, planning policy amendments, and housing need and supply matters in target areas.
  • Sourcing strategic land opportunities in line with the acquisition strategy, including undertaking land searches.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a similar role, securing Land Agreements, and knowledge of the UK Residential Property Market and Planning Frameworks/Legislation.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office and good understanding of Health and Safety (including CDM relating to design).
