About the Opportunity

An exciting chance has arisen for a Talent Development Manager to join our team and drive business growth through strategic HR initiatives.

This is an ideal role for a CIPD-qualified and seasoned HR professional who wants to shape and deliver the people strategy across all areas of our manufacturing business.

Working from our state-of-the-art facility in Tamworth, you'll enjoy a Monday-to-Friday schedule with hours from 08:30 to 17:00.

Key Responsibilities
  • Talent Development: Develop and implement talent development strategies to enhance overall people performance and drive business results.
  • Learning and Development: Design and deliver training programs to equip managers and employees with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Coaching and Mentoring: Provide coaching and mentoring to managers and employees to enhance their leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Succession Planning: Develop succession plans to identify and develop future leaders.
  • Performance Management: Implement performance management systems to drive business results and achieve goals.
  • Employee Engagement: Enhance employee engagement through strategic HR initiatives and regular feedback.
  • Change Management: Manage change effectively, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Reporting: Produce regular reports on activities and trends for management and the Board of Directors.
Requirements
  • CIPD qualification with extensive HR experience, including managing complex ER cases.
  • Experience within a manufacturing or engineering industry is highly desirable.
  • Deep knowledge of the entire employee lifecycle and a passion for driving business results.
  • History of delivering HR strategies that focus on performance and employee engagement.
  • Strong coaching and training experience with the ability to develop and deliver various training programs.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence and liaise at all levels.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment law.
  • Organized with a strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
  • Personable and approachable, able to challenge and remain calm under pressure.
Package
  • Salary: £55,000 per annum (negotiable), reflecting the company's commitment to rewarding talent.
  • Performance Profit Related Bonus (PPRB): A performance-based bonus scheme to recognize individual contributions to business success.
