The Faculty of Engineering and Technology is a creative and innovative team, dedicated to creating and communicating knowledge and opportunities. We offer courses and carry out research, enterprise, and knowledge transfer across a diverse field, including Computing, Engineering, Maritime Studies, Built Environment, Product Design, and Mathematics.

Job Summary

We're seeking a talented Senior Technical Officer to support laboratory teaching and research within the Faculty. As part of a team of technicians, you'll need to work effectively, with strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.

You'll have previous experience in a Civil Engineering and Built Environment laboratory and a good working knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Geotechnics, Hydraulics, Materials, Site Surveying, and/or Highways. Complying with Health and Safety standards, particularly in a laboratory environment, is a distinct advantage.
