Job Title: ICT Service Delivery Manager

We are seeking an experienced ICT Service Delivery Manager to join our IT team at Handicare Stairlifts UK. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our organisation's ICT services.

The ICT Service Delivery Manager will be responsible for overseeing internal ICT operations, ensuring that our technological frameworks align with business objectives to support seamless operations. This includes leading ICT initiatives, enhancing service delivery, enforcing compliance with industry standards, and fostering collaboration across departments to tailor ICT solutions to business needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the internal ICT support team to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Develop and implement ICT service management strategies to enhance service quality and efficiency.
  • Oversee the management of ICT service support systems, including incident, problem, change management, and request fulfilment processes.
  • Develop and enforce robust ICT policies to ensure compliance with company standards, best practice, and regulatory requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with different departments to align ICT services and business goals.
  • Regularly report on ICT service performance and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage the ICT service management budget to ensure cost-efficient allocation of resources.
  • Lead ICT projects from planning phase through to execution, ensuring projects are on time and meet specified objectives.
Requirements:
  • Deep understanding of ICT technology, including Hyper-V & VMWare Virtualisation technologies and cloud environments.
  • Proven experience in ICT service management, with a strong grasp of the ITIL framework. ITIL certification is highly desirable.
  • Experience in developing and enforcing ICT policies to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Excellent project management skills and capable of leading through planning to execution; certifications such as PMP or Prince2 would be an advantage.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to effectively manage internal customer relationships.
