About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Event Manager to join our team at AWS EMEA SARL (UK Branch). As an Event Manager, you will be responsible for planning and executing highly visible AWS events in the UK and Ireland.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the planning, production, and execution of events hosted in the UK and Ireland, including large hosted events, industry tradeshows, and small, high-touch executive activities.
  • Build the event strategy and event goals to ensure event success.
  • Manage event budgets, coordinate event logistics, and ensure all stakeholders are working together to deliver a high-quality event.
  • Develop and distribute regular event communications, including pre-event status reports and post-event trip reports.
  • Work closely with marketing, sales, product teams, PR, and executive management to achieve business goals via event marketing.
  • Track and monitor response to all executed efforts, making contingency plans where necessary to meet attendee goals and other target goals.
  • Employ data analytics to effectively target event sponsors and attendees.
  • Keep the event website current with up-to-date marketing copy.
  • Create and deliver ongoing event reporting, including registration and attendee, campaign reporting, and ROI.
