Speech and Language Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Speech and Language Therapy Assistant to join our vibrant school community. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the teaching, therapy, and care of pupils with Speech, Language, and Communication Needs (SLCN).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and evaluate therapy programmes with the guidance of Speech and Language Therapists (SLTs).
  • Keep accurate and up-to-date records using both manual and digital systems.
  • Support SLTs with group and individual sessions, and help manage dysphagia care.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as preparing therapy materials and maintaining an inventory of resources.
  • Be a part of whole-school initiatives, from curriculum development to lunch supervision and school trips, contributing to the rich life and ethos of our school.
