Job Title: Apprentice Maintenance Technician

Kings College London is a world-class university, and the department of Estates and Facilities, Engineering Strand is responsible for maintaining the services across the Strand Campus for all staff, students, and visitors.

Job Summary

We are seeking an Apprentice Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for undertaking planned preventative and reactive maintenance throughout designated College buildings, ensuring adherence to operational, regulatory, and College compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake planned preventative and reactive maintenance throughout designated College buildings
  • Ensure adherence to operational, regulatory, and College compliance requirements
  • Liaise with specialist sub-contractors and other building dedicated engineers to maintain high-quality service delivery and maximum system uptime
Requirements
  • City & Guilds or time-serviced apprenticeship in either M&E
  • OR an NVQ level 3 in either M&E
  • Grades A-C in English and Maths
  • Intermediate (or above) MS Office skills
  • Significant experience maintaining and operating building services in a complex building
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work without supervision
