Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Join our team at Tate & Lyle Sugars as a Maintenance Technician, where you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our refinery and packaging areas.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for providing an efficient maintenance service to all plant/equipment used within our refinery and packaging areas. This will involve supervising maintenance activities, administering and reviewing SAP maintenance systems, undertaking detailed RCA on component failures, and participating in capital projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Supervise maintenance activities to ensure expedient, high-quality repairs, servicing, and improvement projects.
  2. Administer and review SAP maintenance systems for budgeting, historical trend analysis, and reliability analysis.
  3. Undertake detailed RCA on component failures to generate and implement modifications and improvements.
  4. Supervise cleaning resources to maintain plant hygiene.
  5. Participate in capital projects at all stages of implementation, including pre-delivery inspections and installation of new plant.
  6. Carry out plant isolations.
  7. Champion all Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental targets.
Requirements:

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician with a strong background in engineering trades, preferably with an HNC/NVQ 4 or completed Apprenticeship. Experience of Predictive/Preventative maintenance techniques and regimes is also essential. Knowledge of PLC and HT control systems is desirable.
