Job Title: Technical Service Controller

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Service Controller to join our team at Dawsongroup Environmental Municipal Civil. As a Technical Service Controller, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience by optimizing resources to meet customer needs, maintaining service business performance, and working with the control team to review and plan field engineer workload.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Instill a "Safety first" culture
  • Understand and respond to customer requests
  • Plan jobs to maximize engineer productivity
  • Manage and control job progress at every stage
  • Liaise to ensure job resolution to mutual benefit of DGEMC and external customer
  • Keep systems up to date with accurate job information
  • Provide feedback to clients for best-in-class service delivery

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in technical or mechanical engineering role
  • Previous experience in similar role within similar industry environment desirable
  • Engineering qualification (Mechanical, Automotive, or Construction Plant environment, City & Guilds or NVQ preferred) achieved through recognized formal training program
  • Competent in telematics as diagnostic tool
  • Capability to take ownership and responsibility
  • Committed to delivering high standards of customer service
  • Ability to prioritize own work and work under pressure to strict deadlines
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Strong desire to deliver service excellence
