About the Role
">We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Nurse Practitioner to join our team in the role of Wound Care and Podiatry Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and ambitious individual to work with us in delivering high quality, accessible, and timely evidence-based clinical pathways for patients.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist education and training to others, working collaboratively and co-operatively with clinical colleagues to develop services and quality of care delivered. They will have the opportunity to help develop and improve our pathways of care for patients.
This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires the ability to travel as required. We welcome applications from NMC registered nurses who are keen to advance their clinical, professional, and leadership skills.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate programmes of evidence-based care.
- Provide specialist education and training to others.
- Work collaboratively and co-operatively with clinical colleagues to develop services and quality of care delivered.
Requirements
- 1st level registered nurse.
- Post Basic qualification in specialist area.
Salary and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary of £45,054 - £61,029 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including annual leave, pension scheme, and access to training and development opportunities.
Location
This role is based at Westmorland General Hospital in Kendal, and may involve travel to other locations across Morecambe Bay. The successful candidate will be required to travel as needed to fulfill the requirements of the role.
Working Hours
The standard working hours for this role are 37.5 hours per week, worked Monday to Friday. However, flexibility may be required to meet the needs of the service.
