About the Role:

aap3 Recruitment is seeking an experienced Telecommunications Business Development Manager to develop and sell handsets, dongles, and CPE in the UK market, focusing on Tier-1 operators.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage business development relationships with key retailers and distributors, prioritizing activity to optimize business results.
  • Achieve business development targets and budgets for all projects within the allocated customer domain.
  • Assist in devising sales plans based on market development for handsets, manage sales staff expectations, and promote internal marketing strategies.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with management levels in the UK and China, manage and coordinate work and activity to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.

Key Requirements:

  • At least 6 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, excellent knowledge of open channels and handsets market place.
  • Good contacts and network with key retailers, distributors, and experience working with TCL/ALCATEL, Xiaomi, or similar.
  • Good project management skills, proven track record of business development and account management, proactive customer focus, self-motivated, target driven, and result focused.
  • Excellent written reporting skills, presentation skills, and experience of working with different cultures and managerial methodologies.
