Teaching Assistant Behavioural Expertise

Devon County Council is seeking a highly motivated Teaching Assistant to join our Behavioural Team at West Croft School. As a Behavioural Expertise specialist, you will support pupils with complex behaviours, developing effective strategies to promote positive learning outcomes.
Your key responsibilities will include working under the guidance of SLT and SENDCO, collaborating with colleagues to deliver tailored support and interventions. You will also contribute to training and mentoring sessions, sharing best practice and expertise within the team.
We are looking for an individual with a proven track record of working with children with SEN and behavioural needs, who can demonstrate empathy, patience, and understanding. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions.
West Croft School offers a supportive and inclusive environment, with opportunities for professional growth and development. Salary: £25,000 - £32,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
