As a qualified social worker, you will be responsible for completing assessments with families, supporting and supervising connected foster carers, and working closely with partner agencies to ensure the best possible outcomes for children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments with families to identify their needs and develop effective support plans.
  • Support and supervise connected foster carers to ensure they are equipped to provide high-quality care and support to children.
  • Work collaboratively with partner agencies to share information and best practice, and to ensure a cohesive approach to supporting children and families.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with children, families, and carers to ensure their needs are met and their voices are heard.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A proven background in safeguarding children and working with families.
  • Excellent assessment skills, with the ability to keep the child's needs central.
  • A passion for safeguarding children and understanding of fostering legislation.
  • Ability to work with partner agencies and develop strong relationships with children, families, and carers.
