Job Title: Registered Mental Health Nurse/Learning Disability Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurse/Learning Disability Nurse to join our team at Cygnet Hospital Woking.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality care to individuals with mental health needs. As a Registered Mental Health Nurse/Learning Disability Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering person-centered care, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individual care plans.

You will have the opportunity to work in a range of secure mental health services for men and women, as well as an Acute service. Our hospital is CQC rated Good, and we are committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for our service users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality, person-centered care to individuals with mental health needs
  • Develop and implement individual care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Work closely with management to develop and improve services
  • Administer medicines within healthcare procedures and guidelines
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous learning and professional development

Requirements
  • Current Pin Number as a Registered Mental Health Nurse/Learning Disability Nurse
  • Ability to maintain documentation and undertake audits
  • Good understanding of the latest nursing practices
  • Commitment to patient recovery and empowerment
  • Ability to deputise in a clinical lead role
