Eating Disorders Dietitian Position

About the Role
The Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a qualified dietitian to join their team in the Adult Eating Disorders Service. As a dietitian in this role, you will work closely with the Lead Dietitian to deliver dietetic groups to service users, train and develop Community Mental Health Teams (CMHTs) around West Yorkshire on nutrition and eating disorders, and provide 1:1 support to service users with eating difficulties.
Main Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing practical support groups for service users and contributing to the Open Access Pathway by developing content for the service's Instagram page and facilitating The HUB peer support group. You will also work with service users who have disordered eating secondary to their primary mental health issue, including Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, and Binge Eating Disorder.
Working Environment
The Adult Eating Disorders Service is a small team of Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Dietitians, and Peer Support Workers. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their dietetic skills and build experience in different mental health areas through the Dietetic rotation within the trust. The rotation includes working with various services, such as the Healthy Living Service and the Learning Disabilities Service.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must be a qualified dietitian with HCPC registration (or in the process of obtaining) and have a car driver's license. You will also need to be interested in working in Eating Disorders and have a passion for mental health.
