Eating Disorders Dietitian

We are seeking a qualified dietitian to join our team in the Adult Eating Disorders Service at Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a dietitian in this role, you will work closely with the Lead Dietitian to deliver dietetic groups to service users, train and develop Community Mental Health Teams (CMHTs) around West Yorkshire on nutrition and eating disorders, and provide 1:1 support to service users with eating difficulties.
The successful candidate will also be involved in developing practical support groups for service users and contributing to the Open Access Pathway by developing content for the service's Instagram page and facilitating The HUB peer support group.
We support service users who have disordered eating secondary to their primary mental health issue, including Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, and Binge Eating Disorder. Our team consists of Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Dietitians, and Peer Support Workers.
About the TeamThe Dietetic rotation within Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust includes working across different services, providing opportunities to develop dietetic skills and build experience in various mental health areas. The rotation includes working with the Healthy Living Service, Learning Disabilities Service, and other services.
The trust has an established management and clinical support structure, regular clinical and management supervision, monthly trust-wide dietetic meetings, and access to peer support and other development opportunities. We work closely with Leeds Beckett University and partner with York Teaching Hospital and Leeds Teaching Hospital Trust to deliver student placements.

RequirementsThe post holder must be a qualified dietitian with HCPC registration (or in the process of obtaining). A car driver is essential for this post, and the successful candidate must hold a full license and have access to a car.
Communication prior to interview is encouraged, and applicants should be aware that the trust provides sponsorship for registered healthcare practitioner roles only. This is an essential requirement of the role, and the trust is unable to offer a role if the candidate is unable to meet trust requirements for sponsorship and Home Office requirements for a visa.
