Compliance Bid Support Specialist Role

The Sureserve Group of businesses provides market-leading compliance and energy services across the UK, with over 3,200 employees working from multiple locations. Sureserve Compliance South, part of the Sureserve Group, delivers heating services within the social housing sector across London & the South East. We are a dynamic team of 800 people, supporting our clients across domestic gas, commercial gas, renewables, and electrical services. We are the largest and most successful gas contractor in London, focusing on long-term contracts with our clients to offer our staff job security and progression opportunities.

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Compliance Bid Support Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will support the bid manager to create high-quality submissions and provide administrative support. This is an ideal role for candidates looking to develop their writing skills, with training opportunities to become a Bid Writer. This role requires strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responding to standard selection questionnaires
  • Proofreading and editing tenders for clarity, consistency, and accuracy
  • Formatting proposals according to client requirements and company standards
  • Ensuring timely submission of bids within strict deadlines
  • Ensuring CRM system is maintained
  • Developing engaging case studies by liaising with subject matter experts across the business
  • Maintaining bid library
  • General administrative support

Requirements
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
  • Experience in bid coordination - desired
  • Proficiency in InDesign - desired
  • Knowledge of CRM and project management software - desired
