Teaching Assistant Job Description

We are currently looking for a qualified and experienced Tutor to work as part of our team in Widnes. The ideal candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status or 2 years tuition experience and be able to provide support in the core subjects of Maths, English and Science to students at a KS3-KS4 level.

This is a great opportunity to gain experience and develop your skills while working in a dynamic and supportive team environment. We offer a competitive salary, estimated to be around £24-£29 per hour, based on industry standards and the location of Widnes.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivering lessons and supporting students in their academic development
  • Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback
  • Developing and implementing effective learning plans

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification
  • At least 6 months of tutoring experience
  • UK classroom teaching experience
  • Ability to work creatively and think outside the box
