Transforming Claims Excellence at Hastings Direct
We're seeking a seasoned Claims Team Lead to spearhead our home claims handling function, driving us towards market leadership. As a key member of our team, you'll set and manage annual and monthly objectives, providing coaching and development plans to support ongoing progression and ensuring annual PDR's are conducted.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the Hastings Direct goal to become a market leading home claims handling function
- Setting and managing annual and monthly objectives, providing coaching and development plans to support ongoing progression and ensuring annual PDR's are conducted
- Ensuring payments are authorised in line with our departmental SLA's and overseeing guidance and advice in respect of technical referrals
- Conducting regular monthly audits on colleagues
- Engaging and motivating the team, delivering effective meetings
- Supporting the overall quality of claims handling internally and by outsourced partners
Requirements:
- Previously leadership experience (claims or home claims beneficial)
- Strong customer and colleague focus
- Excellent communication and coaching skills
