Clinical Assessor Specialist

As a Clinical Assessor Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the functional and disability assessments process, touching the lives of millions of people in the UK.
You will work autonomously to assess cases for Personal Independence Payment (PIP) or Work Capability Assessment (WCA), holding consultations and writing fair and accurate reports. This role requires strong verbal communication skills and the ability to use a special IT system to produce high-quality assessment reports.
Our training program is accredited by the DWP, and our support structure includes clinicians working in management positions, ensuring a positive workplace culture. With over 10 years of experience delivering government assessment services, we are an established provider committed to professional development and training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Holding telephone, video, or in-person consultations with individuals applying for PIP or WCA.
- Assessing complex conditions and impairments using your clinical expertise.
- Writing high-quality, fair, and accurate assessment reports using our specialized IT system.
- Working with your line manager to advance your professional development and career as a Clinical Assessor Specialist.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
We seek candidates with a minimum of 12 months post-registration experience working as a Nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD), Paramedic, Physiotherapist, or Occupational Therapist. Full registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) or Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) is also required.
