Project Quantity Surveyor

Ardmore is seeking a highly skilled Project Quantity Surveyor to join our team on a number of newly secured major projects across London.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Procure sub-contractors and ensure consultants and supply packages are within budgetary constraints.
  • Analyse work package tender returns and attend pre-start meetings to recommend order placement.
  • Administer sub-contractor, consultant, and supplier claims in accordance with commercial interests.
  • Attend design team meetings to ensure compliance with contract and minimise unnecessary cost.
  • In the absence of a senior quantity surveyor, carry out their role and inform the managing surveyor of any difficulties.
Requirements:
  • BSc in Quantity Surveying.
  • Chartered member of RICS or working towards.
  • Commercially astute with proven experience in a commercial role in the construction industry.
  • Excellent knowledge of Standard Forms of Contract (NEC & JCT) and Standard Methods of Measurement.
  • Knowledge of Building Regulations (including Part B) and NHBC Standards.
