About the Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Academic Support Professional to join our team as an unqualified supply teacher in Secondary Schools within the Stoke On Trent area.

Role Overview

This flexible role offers opportunities for both full-time and part-time positions, allowing you to balance work with your academic commitments. As an unqualified supply teacher, you will step into the shoes of absent Teachers to ensure continuity in the students' learning journey by delivering pre-planned lessons.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver pre-planned lessons to maintain student progress and engagement
  • Establish a positive and supportive learning environment
  • Maintain open communication with school staff and stakeholders
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant experience working with children, such as in schools, mentoring, tutoring, sports coaching, leading summer camps, youth work, or scouting/guiding
  • An enhanced DBS registration on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Thorough safeguarding checks to uphold our commitment to child protection
Salary and Benefits
