Job SummaryWe are seeking a compassionate and skilled Care Support Worker to join our team at Downs House. As a Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, promoting their independence, dignity, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personalized care and support to residents, including assistance with daily living activities, medication management, and mobility support.

- Contribute to the creation of a safe and welcoming environment, adhering to health and safety protocols and reporting any concerns or incidents.

- Experience in a care setting, preferably in a residential care environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality care, adhering to regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and bank holidays, with a minimum of 24 hours per week.
- Competitive hourly rate of £12.10, reviewed annually.
- Weekend enhanced rate of £12.60 per hour for hours worked on Saturday or Sunday.
- 202 hours annual leave per year, pro-rata, including bank holidays.
