About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mobile Cleaning Operative to join our team at Royal Mail Property & Facilities Solutions. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our sites in the CO postcode area.

As a Mobile Cleaning Operative, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including mopping, toilet cleaning, washing walls, vacuuming, emptying bins and dusting, dusting and sanitising surfaces safely and professionally to a high standard.

You will be required to operate a variety of cleaning equipment, although full training will be provided. This role will be physically challenging and involves manual handling activities.

We require someone who can work independently, organising their own time and prioritising tasks to meet deadlines. You will be managed remotely, so excellent communication skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision are essential.

Previous cleaning experience is desired, but not essential. If you are a naturally friendly and reliable individual with a keen eye for detail, we would love to hear from you.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive hourly rate of £11.75, plus a range of benefits including 20 days annual leave, rising to 25 after 5 years' service, plus bank holidays, uniform, PPE, employee referral scheme and Defined Contribution pension scheme. You will also receive a work van and car parking.
