About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mobile Cleaning Operative to join our team at Royal Mail Property and Facilities Solutions. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our sites in the CO postcode area.

As a Mobile Cleaning Operative, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including mopping, toilet cleaning, washing walls, vacuuming, emptying bins, and dusting and sanitizing surfaces. You will also be required to operate a variety of cleaning equipment, although full training will be provided.

We require someone who is physically fit and able to work independently, with good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with customers and managers. A full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points is also essential, as you will be required to drive a company van between sites.
