About Us

Midland Automobile Club is seeking a highly skilled Exhibition and Event Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating events from planning to execution, providing day-to-day support, and contributing to the development of the MAC and Shelsley Walsh.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliing exhibition and event activities, including setting up displays, manning stalls, and promoting events.
  • Supporting competition meetings and club activities, including administrative tasks and logistics.
  • Managing corporate and hospitality enquiries and delivery, ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Administering car club & trade stand bookings, handling payments and communications.
  • Learning and understanding Competition Secretary duties, taking on responsibilities as needed.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • A team player with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience in event management or related field.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft applications and ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • A self-motivator and multi-tasker, able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Financially aware, with basic accounting skills.

Working Hours and Salary

Salaried hours vary depending on events, with a commitment to the MAC outside of normal working hours. We offer a competitive salary of approximately £25,000 per annum, reflecting the importance of this role in supporting the success of our events.
