As a Golf Associate Half Way House team member, you will be part of a momentous history that dates back to 1065. Our 16th-century gatehouse sets the tone for a warm Welsh welcome and a stunning Wye Valley setting. The Perfect Blend of History and Hospitality

Our Old Course is one of the best parkland layouts in the country, recognized for its challenging holes and stunning views. The Mathern Course, opened in 1975, is an extremely enjoyable layout that provides a great golfing experience. As a Golf Associate Half Way House team member, you will be responsible for providing a high-quality food and beverage environment for all customers, ensuring that financial targets are attained and that customer satisfaction is achieved.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a consistently high level of service and hospitality to all Members and Guests at all times and in all areas of the Golf Operation
  • Ensure that all monies are held in a proper manner, recorded and locked away in accordance with company standards
  • Be responsible for checking floats at the beginning of the shift, and to ensure accurate till procedures are carried out
  • Ensure all food and beverage charges are accurately recorded and signed for in compliance with company standards
  • Ensure stock levels meet business requirements and products are neatly presented to the customer, proactively share stock requirements with those who order
