About the Role

Ribbons and Reeves Limited is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Family Services Counsellor to join our team in Barking & Dagenham. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing guidance and support to children and their families in need. Your primary goal will be to help children achieve their full potential by addressing any underlying issues that may be hindering their progress.

The successful candidate will have a strong educational background in Psychology, preferably from a leading UK University, such as a 1:1 or 2:1 graduate degree. You should also possess excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with children, parents, and other stakeholders.

The estimated annual salary for this position is £27,500, considering your experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer ongoing training and professional development opportunities, as well as a supportive and collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide guidance and support to children and their families in need.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with children, parents, and other stakeholders.
  • Conduct assessments and create tailored plans to address individual needs.

Requirements:
  • Relevant degree in Psychology (1:1 or 2:1) from a reputable UK university.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
