About the Opportunity

CPL is actively recruiting for an experienced Commercial Contracts Lawyer to join our Global Leading client as Inhouse Legal Counsel at their HQ in Northern Ireland.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reviewing, drafting, and advising on a range of commercial contracts for procurement, engineering, sales, and marketing teams.
  • Assisting with the development of a culture of contracting excellence through proactive engagement with key stakeholders.
  • Providing contract negotiation and red flag training and support to commercial teams and new starters.
  • Supporting other group projects and the global legal team on other workstreams.
Requirements
  • Law degree from a reputable University and 3-4 years PQE experience drafting, negotiating, and advising on commercial contracts.
  • Ability to provide clear, commercial legal advice and support commercial negotiations.
  • Experience reviewing, advising, and negotiating commercial contracts, including purchasing agreements, T&Cs, product sales agreements, and development agreements.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills to manage workload and deadlines.
  • Team player comfortable operating within a small legal team with an international client base.
