Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Healthcare Science Assistant/Senior Healthcare Science Assistant to join our Cardiology team at the Newmarket Community Diagnostic Centre.
The Newmarket Community Diagnostic Centre is a state-of-the-art facility that will provide a wide range of diagnostic services, including electrocardiography and ambulatory monitoring. As a member of our team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our centre.
Main Responsibilities
As a Healthcare Science Assistant/Senior Healthcare Science Assistant, you will be responsible for performing 12-lead ECGs and fitting ambulatory monitors. You will also be expected to work independently in an ECG team and have the ability to recognize significant abnormalities in ECG readings.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Level 2 qualification or equivalent experience. You will also need to be willing to work towards a SCST Certificate in Electrocardiography and have experience in a healthcare environment. Additionally, you will need to have basic ECG knowledge and the ability to recognize significant abnormalities.
