Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design activities related to the development of high-performance connectivity solutions. The successful candidate will work in a cross-functional team to productize designs and provide electrical engineering support throughout the NPI process and subsequent product life cycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead electrical design activities to develop high-performance connectivity solutions compliant with TIA and ISO standards.
  • Collaborate with Mechanical design, Production engineering, and Product Management to productize designs and provide electrical engineering support.
  • Create and maintain electrical engineering standards for manufactured and outsourced products.
  • Provide technical leadership on electrical product testing equipment, process, and policy.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of TIA/EIA and IEEE industry standards for high-speed Ethernet applications.
  • Design PCBs using PADS, Altium, and/or Cadence Allegro software.
  • Conduct testing methods for balanced transmission lines using network analyzer and LCR Bridges.
  • Manage projects to set goals and priorities to complete tasks in a systematic and timely manner.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Four or more years of experience designing connectivity for four pair balanced cabling systems to TIA component compliance standards.
  • Experience in field simulation and circuit simulation.
  • Familiarity with TIA/EIA and IEEE industry standards for high-speed Ethernet applications.
  • Computer-aided design skills using PADS, Altium, and/or Cadence Allegro software.
  • Practical knowledge of testing methods for balanced transmission lines.
  • Project management skills to set goals and priorities.
