Business Development Professional

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Development Professional to join Fynity, a fast-growing IT-managed service and security consulting company serving the Defence and Police environments.
This role offers a competitive salary and benefits package, with opportunities for career growth and professional development in business development and account management.
The ideal candidate will have experience of either the Defence or Police environments, with a proven track record of achieving targets and excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. A commercial mindset, ability to analyze complex customer requirements, and familiarity with CRM software are essential.
The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients, conducting sales outreach, managing sales inquiries, and contributing to the continuous improvement of bid processes and documentation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients to drive revenue growth and long-term partnerships
- Conducting sales outreach and managing sales inquiries to identify new business opportunities
- Collaborating with internal teams to enhance proposal content and ensure compliance with all requirements
- Staying abreast of industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies to enhance proposal content
We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as benefits including health insurance, retirement plan, and generous paid time off. Fynity is a collaborative and inclusive work environment that values employee growth and development.
