Job Summary

This exciting opportunity involves taking on a board-level position, providing technical oversight, direction, and support to the engineering team. As a key member of the senior management team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's future and driving its continued success.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the engineering division's performance, efficiency, and quality.
  • Lead by example, promoting a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration within the team.
  • Mentor and develop the skills of junior engineers, fostering their growth and career progression.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless project delivery, effective communication, and outstanding client satisfaction.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives, helping to identify new opportunities and grow the company's market share.
Requirements

To succeed as our Technical Director, you will need:

  • A strong track record of delivering complex engineering projects, demonstrating expertise in civil engineering disciplines.
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with experience in guiding teams towards achieving ambitious goals.
  • A deep understanding of commercial and contractual aspects of construction projects, including NEC forms of contract.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues.
What We Offer

  • A competitive salary range of £85,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience.
