Network Rail is at the forefront of digital transformation, and we're seeking a skilled Voice Network Support Specialist to join our team. As part of our DDaT directorate, you'll play a critical role in enabling our customers and industry partners with modern and transformative technology.

Working as part of a small tier 3 team, you'll identify and resolve complex voice network failures, including service-affecting faults and issues relating to voice services. You'll collaborate with all necessary support teams to restore service within Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and minimize the impact to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and formulate resolutions to complex incidents
  • Provide regular updates on the ticketing system
  • Collaborate with relevant teams across all functions
  • Contribute to the planning and implementation of preventative maintenance
  • Review and perform modifications to technology sub-system hardware and software
  • Produce and maintain documented operational procedures
  • Perform disaster recovery and regularly test scenarios
  • Provide training and knowledge transfer to the Network Management Centre
  • Provide Subject Matter Expert input to project and change related activities
