We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team at Prospero Health & Social Care in Birmingham. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing essential care, guidance, and support to children and young people who may have experienced challenging circumstances.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Build positive relationships and provide emotional support to children and young people
  • Assist with daily activities, including education, play, and social interaction
  • Promote independence and life skills development
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of the individuals in your care
  • Work in partnership with families, schools, and other professionals
  • Support young people to achieve personal goals and overcome barriers
  • Monitor progress and maintain detailed records
Requirements
  • Experience working with children and young people
  • Ability to manage challenging behaviour and remain calm under pressure
  • A valid DBS check (or willingness to undergo one)
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Full UK driving license (desirable but not essential)
