Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £28,000-32,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a generous salary, we offer a range of benefits, including a full driving licence (desirable but not essential). Job Description

As a 2nd Line Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our clients, resolving technical issues efficiently and effectively. Your key responsibilities will include:




  • Responding to incoming calls, emails, and tickets, providing initial support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Diagnosing and resolving common technical issues, including but not limited to Microsoft Windows OS, Microsoft 365, basic network connectivity, and VPN access.
  • Documenting incidents, solutions, and escalating complex issues to Senior Engineers.
  • Providing proactive support, such as routine system checks and alerts, to maintain client systems at optimal performance.
  • Assisting with setting up new users, hardware, and software installations.
  • Ensuring all service levels and response times are met, prioritizing customer satisfaction.


Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:




  • 3 years of experience in a Managed Service Provider environment.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Office 365), Windows Servers, and Active Directory.
  • Basic networking knowledge (DNS/DHCP, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN).
  • Knowledge/experience of SCCM, Intune, and Microsoft Exchange.
  • A full driving licence (desirable but not essential).
