About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our exceptional team at Meadowvale Care Home in Bathgate, West Lothian.

As a Registered Nurse, you will be at the heart of our mission to deliver clinical excellence and holistic care to our residents.

You will be responsible for crafting personalized care plans, ensuring accuracy in care documentation, leading with confidence, and facilitating seamless transitions.

You will also be responsible for monitoring health, administering medications, building relationships, promoting independence, and championing respect.

We are looking for a nurse who is passionate about care and dedicated to improving the lives of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Craft personalized care plans that meet the unique needs of our residents.
  • Ensure accuracy in care documentation and communicate effectively with the care team.
  • Lead with confidence and guide the care team to deliver top-notch care.
  • Facilitate seamless transitions and ensure continuity of care.
  • Monitor health and manage specific health needs.
  • Administer medications safely and adhere to MAR sheets and protocols.
  • Build strong relationships with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Promote independence and support residents in daily activities.
  • Champion respect and dignity for every resident.
  • Encourage engagement and facilitate social interactions and activities.
  • Prioritize safety and maintain a secure environment.
  • Support nutrition and hydration and monitor residents at risk of weight changes or dehydration.
About You
  • You are a Registered General or Mental Health Nurse with an active NMC Nursing PIN.
  • You have a passion for care and a dedication to improving the lives of our residents.
  • You have excellent communication skills and can connect with people of all ages and backgrounds.
  • You are a natural leader and can guide the care team to deliver exceptional care.
