Job Title: Clinical Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to children and young people with mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive mental health assessments and develop individualized care plans for children and young people.
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions and therapies to support the mental health and well-being of children and young people.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care and support to children and young people.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to child and adolescent mental health.
  • Provide education and training to staff and other stakeholders on child and adolescent mental health.
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse with a valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
  • Postgraduate qualification in Child and Adolescent Mental Health or a related field.
  • Experience working with children and young people with mental health needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
