We are seeking a highly skilled PhD Student to join our team at AI Square Corp, working on Software Modelling/Optimization for AI Computing Architectures. The successful candidate will be part of a project exploring the potential benefits of employing software optimization techniques for modelling and training Large Language Models (LLMs), with a focus on Transformers, targeting various unconventional hardware architectures and computing domains (Binary, Analog, Bitstream).

The project aims to develop Python-based libraries for training and inference that are friendly to unconventional computing domains. These libraries will be integrated with PyTorch and/or TensorFlow to facilitate modelling and quantization-aware training for different AI hardware architectures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement software optimization techniques for LLMs using Python.
  • Collaborate with the research team to design and implement novel AI hardware architectures.
  • Contribute to the development of Python-based libraries for training and inference.

We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled individual with excellent programming skills using Python, experience with ML/AI modelling using PyTorch or TensorFlow, and a strong understanding of computer architecture.
