We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Regulatory Compliance Manager to join our team at British American Tobacco. As a key member of our compliance team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest regulatory standards and comply with all relevant laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and deliver assessments, reporting, and Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for our product portfolio, ensuring compliance with BAT Product Guidance, BAT Duty of Care standards, and legal requirements.
- Implement best practices and ensure partners adhere to compliance processes.
- Train individuals on Product Regulatory Compliance processes, SOPs, and WIDs.
- Ensure confidentiality of supplier information and maintain trust, support, and cooperation.
- Work effectively in a dynamic and challenging environment, balancing competing priorities and providing leadership in a key area of the business.
- Relevant degree in a science or legal discipline, or demonstrable experience and positive track record.
- Excellent written and verbal reasoning skills.
- Computer competency in Microsoft Office software, data collection, and general analysis tools; Microsoft Excel proficiency preferred.
- Awareness of the current and emerging tobacco regulatory environment.
- Ability to manage upwards effectively and assertively, as well as within the peer group, to acquire necessary information and drive decision-making.
- Ability to work independently and engage and influence within a complex matrix structure.
- Proactive and confident in dealing with ambiguity and tight time constraints.
- Strong team player who collaborates with peers to support critical projects and deliverables.
