We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Physiotherapist to join our Adult Cystic Fibrosis team at University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients with cystic fibrosis.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the strategic development of the therapy service for Wessex regional adult Cystic Fibrosis
- Work collaboratively with existing staff to provide admission prevention, individual support within patients' homes, and other community-based services
- Lead the therapy team in the absence of Band 8/7s and be involved in teaching undergraduate students
- Provide specialist advice to colleagues and contribute to service development, student supervision, and the development of Band 3-5 therapy staff
- Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent
- Current HCPC registration
- Experience with a variety of physical and mental health conditions/multiple pathology
- Experience of working with support staff and in a multi-disciplinary team
- Evidence of continuing professional development
- Experience in independently managing a caseload of patients
- Previous experience within relevant clinical area and on-call, where relevant to clinical area
