Job Description

**Job Title:** Finance Business Partner

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Business Partner to join our team at Core 3. As a Finance Business Partner, you will play a key role in supporting the financial operations of our client, a prestigious and acquisitive Private equity backed organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build strong relationships with the Supply Chain, Operations, and Planning functions to drive financial performance.
  • Prepare inventory and indirect cost projections to support forecasting and budgeting.
  • Carry out month-end responsibilities to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
  • Analyze variances between actuals, prior year, budget, and forecast, and provide recommendations for corrective action.
  • Play a key role in management teams and steering group meetings to support the delivery of initiatives and strategic alignment.
  • Guide and support site leadership teams to drive business performance.
  • Contribute to monthly business reporting and drive resulting actions and key messages through the business.
  • Evaluate and provide recommendations for make vs buy decisions.
  • Maintain an effective control environment and identify areas of potential control weakness.
  • Carry out ad hoc analysis and projects as required.
  • Assist the Head of Operational Finance in driving process improvements.

Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant with strong financial planning and analysis skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels.
  • Demonstrate a clear commitment to the organisation's values.
  • Be approachable, diplomatic, and assertive with the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Advanced Excel skills with financial modeling and scenario evaluation experience.
  • Ability to influence and challenge decisions where appropriate.
  • Commitment to providing accurate and timely information to a high standard.
