Job Title: Commercial Finance Analyst

Are you a driven and dynamic finance professional looking to transition into a commercial finance position? We have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Assistant Accountant to join our team at a successful FMCG group in Gloucester, Gloucestershire.

Your New Role

As a Commercial Assistant Accountant, you will be responsible for providing insightful analysis on business performance, assisting with the preparation and reporting of monthly and year-to-date sales performance, and supporting the business review process. You will also be involved in preparing monthly/annual forecasts, reconciliations of data aligned to financial reports, and liaising with other departments to correct any variances.

What You'll Need to Succeed

To be considered for this role, you will need to have some core finance experience with an accounts department, ideally AAT or degree qualified studying towards ACCA/CIMA/ACA with strong MS Excel skills. You will also need to have key relationship building skills to partner at all levels internally and externally, be driven and willing to learn, and have a strong problem-solving approach. Experience within a fast-paced FMCG group, commercial finance, and SAP would be advantageous but not essential.

What You'll Get in Return

This permanent Commercial Assistant Accountant role offers a salary between £30,000 - £35,000 per annum, based in Gloucester, Gloucestershire.
