We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Graduate to join our team as a Speech and Language Therapist Assistant. As a key member of our SEN team, you will work closely with our experienced Speech and Language Therapists to deliver high-quality interventions to children with speech, language, and communication needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the class teacher in providing a learning experience for students
  • Behaviour and pastoral support
  • Build robust and effective relationships with students
  • Practical approach to meet individual student needs
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Caring, compassionate, and a good listener
  • Work 1:1 and in small groups with students
  • Ensure safeguarding of students
  • Attend staff meetings and complete CPD

What We Offer:

Excellent on-site training, support, and CPD to ensure safeguarding of all students

Competitive daily rate: £85-£100

Term-time only, Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 16:00

No previous experience required

Excellent opportunity to gain experience and develop your skills as a Speech and Language Therapist Assistant

Requirements:

Right to work in the UK

Psychology, Criminology, or Social Science degree

Candidates registering with Academics Ltd will need to have or apply for an Enhanced DBS and/or overseas police check where appropriate
