Role Purpose

The Homeless Casework Service at Vox Network Consultants aims to assist applicants who are homeless or living in temporary accommodation to secure suitable and sustainable housing. The Resettlement team collaborates with partners to move households into suitable housing and improve housing sustainment.

Within the Homeless Casework Service, the Resettlement Team will provide specialist housing and support pathways for single homeless applicants with more complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service to homeless applicants and key partners
  • Deliver specialist homelessness casework to single applicants with complex support needs leaving institutions, ensuring that all aspects of casework are carried out in accordance with legislation, strategies, policies, and initiatives set out at the national, regional, and local level
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to improve outcomes for single homeless applicants with complex needs and housing needs
  • Contribute to embedding safeguarding best practice across the wider Housing Advisory Service
  • Contribute to the development of the Homeless Casework Service and wider Housing Advisory Service
Requirements
  • Significant experience of providing specialist homelessness casework to single homeless applicants with more complex needs, such as applicants leaving institutions including prisons and hospitals
  • Experience working in a council or housing association
  • Significant experience of working collaboratively to improve outcomes for single homeless applicants with complex needs, such as applicants leaving institutions
  • Ability and experience to consistently deliver high levels of customer service to single homeless applicants with complex needs
  • Ability and experience of ensuring all aspects of casework is carried out in accordance with legislation, strategies, policies, and initiatives
Contract Details

Initial 3-month contract with the opportunity to extend

PAYE via Umbrella

Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm

The estimated salary for this position is £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
