About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Critical Care Specialist to join our team at Spire Healthcare.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to work in a challenging and rewarding environment, providing high-quality care to critically ill patients. As a Critical Care Specialist, you will be responsible for the management of patients in our Critical Care Unit, working closely with consultants and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in acute medicine, with experience in critical care and a proven track record of delivering excellent patient care. You will be confident in your ability to make sound clinical decisions, communicate effectively with colleagues and patients, and contribute to the development of our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care, including stabilization and management of critically ill patients.
  • Collaborate with consultants and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Conduct regular rounds and assessments to ensure patient safety and well-being.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • MB ChB or equivalent medical qualification.
  • Completion of Foundation training plus two years of post-Foundation training in acute specialties.
  • Experience in critical care and acute medicine.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Estimated Salary: £80,000 - £120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
